FERWISE FWM-12 ballistic visors are laminated with PMMA and polycarbonate with special interlayer. The fixing brackets are anodized aluminum with plunger type lock mechanism on the fight hand side.
Our visors are designed to offer entire facial protection from the helmet rim to below the chin area, against multiple hits of ballistic threats, as well as fragmentation and blunt impact.
With no air-space between layers, FERWISE Visors have the highest light transmission, minimal distortion, and least weight and thickness for the same ballistic protection. FERWISE ballistic visors can be retrofitted to full coverage PASGT or ACH style helmets with our unique Visor Securing Belt. It can be securely mounted to the helmet with adjustable rear lock, and can be quickly attached or detached to most ballistic helmets. The visor can be locked into 3 positions including fully elevated, 45 degree, and deployed. FERWISE ballistic visors are currently in service with military, paramilitary, law enforcement, bomb disposal, and EOD teams worldwide.
