It can provide effective protection from overpressure, fragmentations, impact and high temperature/flame etc. caused by explosion. Wearing in operation or training, the helmet should always be used so as to maximize the function of FBDS11 bomb disposal suit.

The whole bomb disposal suit is in the weight of 35kg, of which 3.5kg helmet for bomb disposal
(including ventilation, communication parts), 25.5kg protection suit
(including the chest and abdomen reinforced plates), and 6kg attachments
(including ventilation, lighting, communication components).
